Hoover's Online Wins Three Awards

(Nasdaq: HOOV), today announced it has received three awards in February 2002. Hoover's Online has been selected as a Top 100 Web Site by both Selling Power magazine and, for the second year running, PC Magazine. Additionally, in media magazine's first-ever ranking of online publishers, Hoover's Online was ranked among the top five in the business category.
For the second year in a row, PC Magazine named Hoover's Online one of its Top 100 Classic Web Sites in the business and finance category. Selling Power ranked Hoover's Online a Top 100 Web site in the Sales Leads category. According to Selling Power, "Bookmark this site to research new prospects, monitor your competitor's financial moves, get access to vital business information and sign up for valuable industry newsletters."
Hoover's Online was selected by media magazine based on several criteria, including quantitative data, such as number of unique users; quality of site content; the extent to which the site has been an innovator or leader in online advertising; and a survey of MediaPost members (rankings based on service, ad units, serving, measurement and negotiation).
