BRIEF: Region: $325 million loan awarded [Aberdeen American News (SD)](04 Oct 2008 04:00:00 EDT)Oct. 4--Basin Electric Power Cooperative will receive a $325 million low-interest federal loan to continue the emissions control project at the Leland Olds Station near Stanton, N.D., which supplies power to South Dakota, according to a news release from U.S. Sen. Tim Johnson. The project enhancements will also extend the operational life of the facility.
