Bankers Financial Company Description
Bankers Financial Corporation has more to do with extended warranties and hurricanes than it does with checking accounts. The holding company owns Bankers Insurance Group, which provides personal and commercial property/casualty coverage and life insurance products through its carrier subsidiaries. These include Bankers Insurance Company (personal and commercial lines in more than 40 states); First Community Insurance (homeowners, excess, and flood insurance in Florida); Bankers Specialty Insurance Company (property insurance in Louisiana); and Bankers Life Insurance (annuities). Bankers Insurance will begin offering federal flood insurance in 2008, working through its BinTech Partners, an outsourcing provider.
