Electronics makers incorporate AuthenTec's TruePrint devices into a variety of goods, such as PCs, PDAs, and automotive subsystems, with customers including Fujitsu (about 23% of sales), Fujitsu Siemens, Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Samsung, and Toshiba. The technology was originally developed within Harris Semiconductor, and AuthenTec was spun out of Harris Corporation. The company gets more than 90% of sales from the Asia/Pacific region.
