Artera Company Description
Remember those days when you would log on to America Online with a dial-up modem at a blazing data-transfer rate of 14.4 kilobits per second? Many surfers of the World Wide Web have since moved beyond dial-up connections (and away from AOL's service) to faster broadband Internet service, but broadband access isn't available everywhere. Artera Group provides software used to optimize and accelerate the delivery of Internet content to dial-up connections. Its Artera Turbo software and services are used by residential, small-business, and enterprise customers. Artera's parent company, NCT Group, formed the subsidiary in early 2001.
