Ambassador Theatre Company Description
It's not clear how this ambassador measures up in the diplomacy and tact department, but it definitely has gaslights and greasepaint down pat. The largest theatre group in London's West End theater district, Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) produces and presents plays, and owns about 25 theaters. Its portfolio includes high profile and historic buildings such as the Piccadilly, Playhouse, and Savoy. ATG is best know for its productions, which have included Olivier Award-winning Slava's Snowshow and a co-production of Doctor Faustus starring Jude Law. The company has additional productions in the US and Australia, and has opened a New York office. ATG was co-founded by Howard Panter and Rosemary Squire in 1992.
